the latest Isuzu tournament is due to start November 20th It's at a higher weight this time between 17 and 150 I believe, with winner going on to represent Thailand in the next Thaifights tournament

The Isuzu as usual has two groups of 4 fighters battling it out 1 fight a week and the winner to get a brand new Isuzu and 1 million baht.

group A

Khem Sitsongpeenong

Nopparat Kiatgamthon

Sudsakon Sor Klinmee

Kongjak Sor Tuanthong

group B

Prakaisaeng Sit O

Thepsuthin Pumpanmuang

Thanongdet Chengsimiew gym

Denchonlek Sor Sor Niyom

and there are two reserve fighters Ekpracha Minayothin and Samrnchai 96 Penang

Wow awesome some big names there. Only really familiar with the top half of the draw and the name Prakaisaeng Sit O as he beat Khem not so long ago. As usual i'll be going for Khem in this one.

The weight will be 147lbs - 151lbs. The stronger fighters will give up weight to the weaker fighters.

Group A is definitely stronger with Kem and Nopparat being the favorites to win and Sudsakorn a big threat to both of them.

Kem vs Nopparat will fight on Dec 18 at equal weight of 147lbs.

I think Prakaysaeng will struggle with the weight as he is normally around 73kg and at Omnoi the fighters must weigh in at 5am and fight a around 1pm. Very hard to recover from losing so much weight in only 7 or 8hrs.

Nice to see rising star Duenchonlek in there also. He just turned 17y.o. and at 184cm he is the tallest fighter in the tournament.

Aikpracha just beat Kongjak few weeks ago and is reserve?
Looking forward to watch all group A fights.
I don't know this Denchonlek, but maybe he can give some excitement in group B.

Rob , i mean Nopparat fight the tournment on Nov20th, then his second fight is against ANTUAN SIANGBOXING on Nov 29th in Thailand vs Challenge.

The tournament starts on 20th, but is Nopparat in the first fight? I dont think so.
And if he does, will be worst for Antuan, because he will be in nice shape.

Thanongdet is the current Lumpini champ at 147lbs,

But not to active lately,

Hey Leo what did you hear about his fight in La Reunion island if anything???

I still fancy him to do well,

What a line up, Thepsutin v Thanondeth would be a good fight in group b

the Isuzu tournament is one fight every week, not a one day 8 man, goes on over several months, besides if he has signed to fight in the Isuzu tournament I doubt very much he would be allowed to fight in the Thailand vs Challenger fight

I didn't see Thanongdet in the gym today, only read that he lose.
Thepsutin is too fresh and young, and already beat Thanongdet twice.

Many of the fighters including Kem, Nopparat and Sudsakorn have had to cancel and for go fights abroad. From December onwards they cannot fight any where for the duration of the tournament. Their prize money income will obviously be greatly affected over the 4 - 6 months it will run for them.

Even with a million baht and a pick-up for the winner I think for the big names it is the chance of being the Thailand representative for Thai Fight that has attracted them.

Two last fights Tanongdet was winning, but last round got tired and lose.
This time he was fit enough to avoid Thepsutin knees.

I did not see it but was told Tanongdech won comfortably. It also goes to show what a difference weight can make. Thepsutin (147lbs) gave up 2lbs to Tanongdech (149lbs).

After this result Group A looks to be much stronger then Group B.

Thanongdet looked fit but does not have the power he used to for sure,

Yes he did do well to stay away from Thepsutin's knee's,

Good win
