Muaythai warriors 20-7-2012


A large show is coming to Ratburi province of Friday the 20th of July, with the inaugural Muaythai warriors promotion, held in celebration of His Majesty the Crown Prince of Thailand’s 60th Birthday.

The show will feature a team challenge between Thailand and foreign opposition with a trophy donated by the Crown Prince awarded to the winning team.

The main fights will be televised live on Thailands’s channel 11 from 21:30-24:00

The shows main event sees Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythai gym, take on South African Umar Semeta for the Vacant WPMF World title. Saenchai was originally due to face England’s Liam Harrison who unfortunately picked up an illness shortly before and is unable to compete.

Rungrawee Sasiprapa takes on Ireland’s Stephen Meleady in a potential thriller, with Rungrawee renowned for his aggressive hard-hitting style and Stephen a tough experienced fighter that spends a lot of time in Thailand training and competing in the main stadiums.

Another match with potential fireworks is the one between ‘the cannibal’ Seeoui Sor Sunanthachai and Spain’s Juan Mario. Seeoui is known for his relentless aggressive style and Juan Mario has fought his entire career in Thailand based out of Kaewsamrit camp and has fought in all the main stadiums and was formerly ranked at Ratchadamnern stadium.
