New Ratchadamnern promoter set to shine
There is a new promoter being added to the roster at Ratchadamnern stadium, with the debut night set for the 7th of February. The new promotion will be called Petwiset promotions or ‘wonderful diamond’ with the promoter himself no stranger to the sport or it’s fans. Petwiset promotions will be the promotions of Nattadet Wachiraratanawong, who is the son of main Lumpini promoter Wirat Wachiraratanawong, the head of Petyindee boxing promotions. Nattadet will be the youngest promoter ever of any of the main stadiums at the tender age of 25, but comes with a wealth of experience as part of Petyindee boxing promotions team, having grown up with the sport and learning from his father who has been a promoter for 31 years.
The fight cards for promoters debut nights are usually packed with big names and the 7th of February looks set to continue the tradition. No full fight card has been formed yet, with the outcomes of the fights on the big 4th of January Petyindee show sure to figure in the match-ups. One fight is certain though, the rematch between Thailand’s Olympic hero Somrak Khamsing and Jomhod Kiatadisak, with a cool 6 million baht on the line this time.
